Christine & Pete | the wedding!

We went out with a bang last year during wedding season.  Christine and Pete's wedding was nothing short of perfect.  The Harvest House wedding had simple yet stunning details.  And the two of them were up for anything, which made for some beautiful portraits!  Here is a few peeks of their day....

Erin & Chad's Wedding!

Erin & Chad tied the knot on a beautiful fall day amongst family and friends.  Their ceremony was held in front of a pond with an archway that Chad built himself.  It made the perfect backdrop to their wedding day!

Lauren & Zach....

Lauren and Zach tied the knot back in October at Taberna Country Club.  The clouds made a perfect backdrop across the golf course for their wedding day!  Here is a peek at their day...

Brooklyn & Daniel | the wedding

One of the things I love about shooting weddings is when a bridesmaid books me for their wedding at a later date.  Even better than that is a sibling...and with this wedding, we had both!  :)  When we traveled to Jamaica last summer with Megan and Chance, we met 40 people during their destination experience.  Two of them happened to be Brooklyn and Daniel.  Brooklyn was the groom's sister and best friend to the bride.  Naturally when we arrived to Brooklyn's wedding, we already knew most of the wedding party.  It was like a little Jamaica reunion!  We love working with people that are fun and totally trust our vision!  This wedding was no exception!  We just had fun and hung out like one of the family!    Here are a few peeks into their wedding...

Ashley and Jonathan | The Wedding!

Ashley was truly a DIY bride.  She had so many personal touches to her wedding day!  Their wedding was held on a rainy weekend at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds nestled in the yesteryear village.  The wooden buildings gave a stunning rustic backdrop for their country event.  Magically the rain disappeared before the ceremony and we were able to carry on as planned!  Here are a few peeks at their day...

Counting down the new year!

I can't believe that it will be 2012 tomorrow!  Can you??  Time flies.  2011 was a wonderful year!  I had the pleasure of capturing lots of tiny babies, some beautiful weddings, and lots of sweet families.  I truly LOVE LOVE LOVE my job.  I always TRY to do a top ten favorites from the year and it is SOOO hard this year...as always.  Usually this is just my favorites because they were my most creative, or had the most emotion, etc.  I take my job very seriously and I love every moment of it.  I always try to push myself to work harder at each session, so when I walk away with a favorite...it is a big deal.  :)  Here is this year's favorite shots.

Robyn & Jonathan...

Robyn & Jonathan tied the knot in May at the beautiful Harvest House.  During the toast, it was said that it was hard to imagine either of them without the other, as they are just "Robyn & Jonathan" in most people's minds.  And that statement would define their wedding day.  Each couple seems to have a part of their wedding day that "shines" in their photos.  Some wedding parties are adventurous and fun and we get the most amazing "action/playful shots" while others are very detail oriented and have amazing decorations.  But the part of Robyn & Jonathan's wedding that jumped out to me the most was the few portraits we did at sunset.  Once we set them in the weeds together, you could just see the comfort and love between them.  It was natural and perfect.  Here are a few peeks of their day...

Amanda & Aaron | part two!

 Wow, I am behind.  This was shot in DECEMBER.  Yikes.  I will be sharing more of these two soon in their video.  :)

Since Amanda & Aaron's wedding was indoors and at night time, we met up later for a day after session.  By then the snow was long gone, but we found some fun spots to play.  Here are my favorites...

Caroline & Randall | September 28, 2010

I got an email late one night from Caroline.  It was 3 weeks before her wedding day and she wanted to hire me to photograph her wedding.  She had just found me online and KNEW I was the one.  I set up a date to meet up in person.   After meeting her, I KNEW I was the one to photograph her day as well.  It was a tuesday wedding nestled in the most beautiful spot in the mountains at Chetola Resort in Boone, NC.  Just so happens, that as an ASU alumni, I was quite familiar with this spot!  I was excited about capturing her day.

To say their wedding was emotional would be an understatement.  The groom, the bride, the bride's children, the bride's mom, and EVEN I were caught crying during this emotional wedding!  It was a celebration of love, happiness, and a new family's beginning.  Here are my favorite peeks at the day...
