When chatting about engagement photos, Ashley and Jonathan KNEW what they wanted. We had decided to use a campground which Ashley grew up spending her childhood summers there while Jonathan ALSO found himself working there in the summer. We had fun with the campground theme! Lauren and Zack met up with us at the beautiful setting of Beaufort NC for a fun engagement session. We walked the waterfront, found some cute little spots and then finished up at Fort Macon for sunset pics. It was windy, but the weather was AMAZING. We had a great time getting to know you guys and we look forward to your Fall wedding! :)

This is part 2 of Brooklyn and Daniel's engagement session! They love attending festivals together and Shakori was the first one they went to. With permission of the awesome staff, we got to wander around the grounds using their favorite spots. It is such a fun place! Here are some favorites!
This next pose, it is special because while demonstrating how I wanted her to lean on a stump, I happened to have picked a rotten stump and fell THROUGH the stump. It made for some SERIOUS laughing. Thank God I didn't drop my camera on the way down. *not my finest moment!*

This session has to be one of my all time favorites. Of course it helps that it was well planned. We actually attempted to do this engagement session several times. Once in Jamaica, but we didn't due to a slight injury. Once in Boone for a fun snow shoot, but we had to reschedule due to the flu hitting my family. And when we FINALLY set a date, we dreamt up something even better than the beautiful beaches or snowy slopes. Brooklyn and Daniel are "Hippies" at heart. When she mentioned an idea of doing a "hippie" shoot, I was game. But we dug a little deeper. We incorporated elements of them into the shoot from all angles. The shoot was so much fun to do. :) I had so many favorites from this session that it was hard to narrow it down! :) Here is part one!
