Erin and I met up for her "bridals" after her wedding because she wanted to capture her horse with her. Another wonderful Bridal session to share today...It is Roxanne's wedding day! WOOHOO!
When we met up for her bridal portraits, things didn't go exactly as planned. Her mom was supposed to be able to tag along. In her mom's car was a prop, her wedding shoes, and a few other items we needed....but due to traffic, her mom was unable to get to us in time. I not so quickly helped Roxanne into her dress (I need some dress training!! lol) and then we got to work. Despite the rocky start, I think we rocked out her session!
Roxanne loved the idea of a big open field for her bridal portraits and so we just played amongst the tall grass. When I photograph in a garden, I move around to many spots...taking in different flowers and textures and things. In a open field, every grain of grass is pretty much the same, so you have less to use...however I LOVED this because it really pushes me to play! And that we did!

I think June 19, 2010 was the most popular wedding day I have had EVER. Seriously I had oveer 10 people inquire about this day. I never knew it was so popular!! Luckily Beth snagged the date over a year in advance, so she was a lucky girl! :) We did her bridal portraits a while back and I have been hanging onto them waiting until to day to share them. :) Here are some favorites...

I can finally share Becki's Bridal portraits since she is getting married today! :) For her pictures I searched out the perfect spots to take them. She was up for anything and made a bit of a trip for them. I wish I had a cool location like this near me! :)
