Wrapping up 2011...

Every year, I try to make a little tribute to the year as it comes to a close.  The first few years, I made cards and sent them to each client, but as my session list grew, they no longer fit onto a card.  The past few years I have made a slideshow video showcasing the year.  This year it seemed a little daunting for me.  I had sooo many sessions and it took me forever to go through them all, but I finally got it done!  :)  

  

 

 

THANK YOU TO ALL MY 2011 CLIENTS.  It was a wonderful year.  I feel so blessed to have captured so many memories, milestones and first moments.  I love my job so much and without you guys, I wouldn't be anywhere.  SO THANK YOU!  

 

And while we are chatting about 2012...there will be some fun changes in store (besides me having a baby!).  Stay tuned!  

 

 

I am still here!

Wow, sorry for the lapse of blogging!  We have had the stomach flu passed around our family and HOPEFULLY it is now gone for good!  :)  I have done quite a bit of shooting for January lately and I have lots to share.  I am determined to NOT blog new sessions until I wrap up all my blog posts from 2011!  I still have quite a few weddings, videos, and day after sessions to sit down and make myself blog.  They just take me a while!  But I promise it is on the top of the list!  For now, here are a few sneek peeks of sessions to come!

Cierra | Beach Session...

Must be pretty cool to have a photographer in the family, right?  Well, if you asked my family, they would probably tell you that I RARELY take photos of them and when I do have a session with them it takes me MONTHS to get to them!  Case in point...My cousin Cierra.  We had a quick beach session back in July, and today I finally got her photos edited.  6 months later.  lol.  Better late than never??

The Dawson girls...

These sweet girls and I got around to our "Christmas session" on New Years Eve!  Mom had a super fun bean bag and cute outfits ready to go.  Luckily, it was a warm day too!  Here are a few peeks at them!

Sweet Emerson!

Emerson was almost a Christmas babe, but luckily, she snuck in a few days before so her family was able to enjoy her sweetness for the holidays!  We met up the day after Christmas for her session.  Although she stayed awake most of the time she visited, we were still able to sneek in some sweet sleepy shots. Here are my favorites...

 

I love newborns.   This spring is going to be full of them, so stay tuned for lots more tiny goodness!  

 

2012...ARE YOU READY??

I know it is 2012 already and has been for a while, but I am just now gearing up for the new year of business.  :)  2011 was SUPER busy and I loved it, however, I have a lot of changes coming my way this year (one being a new baby).  I am adjusting things to accommodate.  Here are some of the things you can expect....

 

PRICING/PACKAGE CHANGES:

I will NOT be raising my prices this winter.  HOWEVER, I will be adjusting somethings on my product/package line up for the better!  :)  One change is more digital options!  I am anxious to see them go into effect and I think you guys will love them!  :)  

 

BOOKING/SCHEDULING CHANGES:

This winter/early spring, I will have LIMITED booking.  I am expecting in April and I have to limit what I take on.  :)  I already have lots of sweet babes on the books that i can't wait to meet!  If you want a session between now and April, BOOK IT NOW!!!  I will be taking most of April/May off to focus on my newborn!  (If you are on the books for those months already, don't sweat it...we are still on!!).    Wedding bookings for 2012 are limited.  REALLY limited.  :)  I will only add one maybe two more this year, so book now if you plan to be married in 2012!  :)

 

BEACH SESSIONS

I love doing beach sessions, however, I will have VERY limited beach sessions this year as I do not plan to travel much with a newborn.  I will list those dates ASAP and they will be first come first serve.  Look for that post soon!  :)

Miss Izzy and I met up on a FREEZING day.  In fact, we vowed that next year, we would do her Christmas session in October when it is warmer!  She was a trooper through the chilly temps!  Here are a few peeks of her and her family...

Counting down the new year!

I can't believe that it will be 2012 tomorrow!  Can you??  Time flies.  2011 was a wonderful year!  I had the pleasure of capturing lots of tiny babies, some beautiful weddings, and lots of sweet families.  I truly LOVE LOVE LOVE my job.  I always TRY to do a top ten favorites from the year and it is SOOO hard this year...as always.  Usually this is just my favorites because they were my most creative, or had the most emotion, etc.  I take my job very seriously and I love every moment of it.  I always try to push myself to work harder at each session, so when I walk away with a favorite...it is a big deal.  :)  Here is this year's favorite shots.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

To all my clients, fans, family, and friends...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!  

 

I love the holiday season so much.  Mostly because it makes me aware of just how lucky I am.  I always feel overwhelmed wtih gratefulness!  I love the time with family, friends, and loved ones.  I can't soak in enough of it!  I hope you are all happily spending time with the ones who matter most to you today and tomorrow.  I am enjoying mommy time with my crew for the next few days...and I couldn't be happier!  (Although, I have a fun newborn session snuck in over the holidays too!).  Here are a few of the shots of my kiddos we did recently.  I really don't photograph them enough.  I need to make it a goal to do that more!  :)  Of course, I waited until the last minute to do these and I was actually sick the day we went for it.  They were so good to me.  Kept saying take another of me.  If I had felt better, we would have walked away with so many more!  But I am grateful to have these!  :)
